“This Autumn/Winter campaign was shot here in Westminster, a wonderfully historic part of London and the home of our new global headquarters Horseferry House.
I wanted the images to represent both the rich history and the modernity of the Burberry brand whilst at the same time reflecting a quiet beauty, timelessness and strength that is particularly significant today.
Having known and admired the lovely Emma Watson for quite some time, she was the obvious choice for this campaign who like the images she fronts, has a classic beauty a great character and a modern edge.
Emma’s charm, intellect and brilliant sense of fun made the whole shoot feel like a picnic on the Thames.
The five guys of the campaign, Tom, Charlie, Douglas, Nick and Tom come from the world of film, music and art and give the pictures a true British attitude

Burberry has recently launched a newly expanded denim line for men as part of its London lifestyle Spring Summer 2009 collection. The men’s Spring Summer denim collection has three jean fits – regular, tapered and slim with a colour palette that includes washes in vintage blue, air force blue and navy. Burberrys Spring/ Summer collection including the denim line is available in stores and on-line at Burberry.com from April 2009.

New this spring the Burberry label introduces us to their new sport collection for Spring Summer 2009.
Key pieces from the collection include super-light filled parkas and bombers, yachting shells, cabans, bomber coats, running shorts, articulated leg slim trousers and hooded sweats. The collection also includes accessories including trainers, flip flops and collection of nylon bags. Not only did Valet fall in love with this Christopher Bailey watch for Burberry that was seen in their runway show in June, but Men’sRag fell hard for it too. Think of it as love at first site. The tough part of the want is not only the price ($695) but also locating it. The watch is only carried in selected Burberry boutiques.

The current Burberry men’s accessories collection for Spring/summer 09 include totes in tarnished alligator, cotton canvas and soft natural grain leather. If the bags look familiar it’s because the collection was previewed during the Burberry Prorsum Spring Summer 2009 menswear catwalk show.
The bags in the Burberry S/S ’09 collection are hard-wearing, lightweight and constructed in shape, influenced by the relaxed familiar-feeling ready-to-wear pieces with a colour palette that includes tan, chocolate, stone, sand, bark and mushroom.
The Spring Summer 2009 men’s accessories collection will be available in Burberry stores worldwide and online at Burberry.com.

Along with this new direction,the label has launched a behind the scenes video for the photoshoots for the ad campaing. This past week I’ve been swamped with work from my real job which effects me writing or even posting stuff for you guys to enjoy. Unlike many others, I don’t get paid for doing this fashion site, its all a service to fill a fashion void somewhere. So with that being said, the Burberry Prorsum Spring 2009 Pre-Collection is going to be the only post for the day. I know its nothing Extravagant or something that will make up for my absence today, but its something to look at. I’ll be back posting next week, So just bare with me. I just only wish that the subject of this post was about how I’m off on vacation. Sigh.
